In the research conducted by the National Cyber ​​Incident Response Center (USOM), it was determined that Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Reşadiye Vocational School student information was offered for sale on various forum sites. Following the notification to the school, it was determined that there was unauthorized access to the servers.

In the research conducted on October 3, 2023, it was determined that the university’s system was logged in as authorized users from foreign IP addresses as of September 11, 2023. According to the data breach notification made to KVKK, it was announced that the identity, communication, visual and audio recorded personal data of 741 students were leaked.
