Boston Dynamics was purchased by Hyundai for $921 million two years ago, and an additional $400 million investment was made by the company last year. Thus, Boston Dynamics further accelerated the development of robots such as Spot and Atlas. Their latest video is both entertaining and creepy at the same time.

Boston Dynamics, which continues its existence under the umbrella of Hyundai, featured the advanced humanoid robot Atlas and the robot dog Spot in its YouTube video it recently published. In this video, it is seen that Spot is dancing mainly in the form of choreography. As we can see from the video, the movements of the robots have become extremely smooth. In particular, Atlas’ movements have been made very humanoid.

Spot is used in our country

Boston Dynamics has already rolled out the Spot robot to various logistics companies. In fact, Tüpraş, one of the leading companies in our country, acquired Boston Dynamics’ Spot robot in order to use more digitalization and robotic technologies in its production areas. Spot’s duty at Tüpraş is to make periodic checks and show up in risky business areas. In addition, Spot can perform analog meters, level indicators, valve opening and various safety controls.
