However, the CEO continues his statements on Twitter. According to recent reports, Binance’s CEO has warned employees to be mindful of their words in case they are summoned to the courtroom.
Zhao issued warnings to company employees in a letter first received by Wu Blockchain. CZ’s letter included the following statements:
“Binance is collaborating with investigators. Usually the first thing they want is our chat logs. Everything you say may/will one day appear in the courtroom (or on the Internet).”
Zhao referred to a Tweet that now quotes some chat logs, which was cited in a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission against the crypto exchange earlier this week.
