The US car company Tesla has been working on Cybertruck, which will appear as an electric pick-up for a long time. The pick-up, which was first introduced in 2019, would be released in 2021 according to the statements made in those years. However, the company stated in a statement last year that deliveries would be made in 2022. Unfortunately, this did not happen and Cybertruck was delayed once again.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk made some statements about Cybertruck deliveries. “Hopefully next year,” he said, pointing to 2023 in his earlier statements. Elon Musk said, “In the middle of 2023” during the second quarter financial situation report statement. This statement means that we will meet Cybertruck in June 2023.
Cybertruck appears and disappears
Cybertruck is one of the most messy models in Tesla history. Because this pick-up was also opened for pre-order on the days it was announced, and even received payment from customers. However, in the next period, things took a turn for the worse. Supply problems, possibly due to COVID-19, hampered the company’s plans. As such, Tesla stopped Cybertruck’s orders. In addition, this pick-up has been removed from Tesla’s website.
Although Tesla’s pick-up model has been delayed, the company has made a great effort to show that the work on this vehicle continues. We saw Cybertruck sometimes being used by Elon Musk, and sometimes while the work in the factory was going on. Here are some of the developments that were on the agenda at that time:
