WhatsApp is introducing new custom lists so users can organize their chats more effectively.

Thanks to this new innovation added to the application, it becomes easier to organize your conversations for specific people or groups. For example, by dividing the conversations you have with your family, colleagues or group of friends into separate categories, you will be able to find them quickly when you need them.

The created lists will appear at the top of the chats

With this new lists feature offered by WhatsApp, you will be able to assign chats to the lists you create. Once created, the lists will appear next to the “All,” “Unread,” and “Groups” filters at the top.

Thanks to this feature, users who are exposed to a lot of messages during the day due to both their work and private life will list the conversations and will no longer get lost in conversations that they are not interested in or do not prioritize.

How to create custom lists?

Creating lists is quite simple. You will be able to create a new list by tapping the “+” icon in the filter bar at the top of your WhatsApp chats tab. You will then be able to choose which conversations you want to include in this list by giving it a name. WhatsApp offers the opportunity to add both your personal and group chats to these lists.

This new feature of WhatsApp is currently active for some users and is expected to reach all users in the coming weeks.
