Giant software company Google’s social media platform Google+, which was launched in 2011, was shut down in April 2019 due to low user numbers and security problems. The company announced that the platform, which was left open for corporate users today and whose name was changed to Google Currents, will be officially closed again in 2023.
Users will move to Google Spaces
Thinking that the platform is now completely outdated, Google, in a recent Google Workspace announcement post, said, “With Spaces now available, Google Currents from 2023 We plan to end . It offers integration with Google Workspace products, including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, and Meet. However, with plans to bring new features to Spaces before Currents closes next year, Google will add different capabilities to the platform that will help users communicate and collaborate more effectively.
