Despite the more prominent “male” weight in the business world due to gender roles, the importance and roles of women in the emerging cryptocurrency and blockchain sector have been highlighted.

The ever-growing and accelerating structure of the crypto money industry also increases the number of women in the industry. However, when we look at the sector, it is an acceptable fact that the male weight is high. In management and leadership positions in this sector, the weight is again on the male side. Particularly, women’s involvement in the crypto sector is critical for the sector to become functional and sustainable.
In this context, Gate TR Research Manager Sevcan Dedeoğlu stands out as one of the women who stand out with their success in the ecosystem. Sharing his views on the subject, Dedeoğlu stated that there are too many empty seats in this sector and that women are new in the sector. Dedeoglu said:
“The main issue in the blockchain technologies and crypto money market is to eliminate the inequality in capital distribution and increase the number of women in this field. That’s why I always share my motto that I get from Satoshi with the whole ecosystem. There is a lot of work to be done.”
In addition, Nuvei Business Development Manager Irmak Yolcu, who entered the crypto industry seeing that the industry is dominated by men, argued that women should have more presence in the blockchain and crypto sector.
