Jason Brett: No Friendly Look at Crypto

Jason Brett, a former official with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), noted that US regulators may be using the latest turmoil in the financial world to kick crypto companies out of the banking system.

Jason Brett said on a show he attended that efforts to keep crypto companies out of the US banking system may have happened even before the last bank crash.

Brett, managing director of the Key Bridge Advisors consulting firm and a Forbes regulatory analyst for digital assets, said of the outlook for crypto:

“It’s about being friendly towards crypto and there’s no such thing.”

Commenting on the regulators in the USA, Brett continued his words as follows:

“Efforts by federal regulators to block crypto companies from accessing the US banking system may have occurred even before the recent bank crashes.”
