Blockchain technology is being adopted by many countries day by day and they are working on it. Busan, the second largest city in South Korea, is one of the most prominent settlements in Blockchain. It has partnered with two global cryptocurrency exchanges Crypto.com and Gate.io to grow the city’s Blockchain ecosystem.Cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com has pledged to support the growth of local Blockchain startups, while Gate.io plans to train a thousand local Blockchain experts each year.
We can also say that it is the fourth and fifth global cryptocurrency exchange to be signed with Busan, after Crypto.com and Gate.io, Binance, FTX and Huobi Global.
Finally, Busan was designated in 2019 as the exclusive Blockchain unregulated zone that allows Blockchain developers to bring projects or ideas to the city government that may be restricted elsewhere in Korea due to regulations.
