In line with the news published by Webrazzi, Garanti BBVA has launched its crypto wallet and transfer service. It was stated that Garanti BBVA Crypto service could be used actively for company employees at first.

Traditional finance companies are turning to crypto
Garanti BBVA has recently published various job postings on the LinkedIn platform related to cryptocurrencies. In a shared advertisement, it was recorded that the position of “Digital Asset Liquidity Management Project Manager/ Product Owner” was recruited. In addition, the bank stated that it is looking for a “Crypto Asset Specialist/Officer” in June 2022. He added that the authorized person will take part in the ‘Crypto Asset’ transactions carried out within Garanti BBVA.
In addition, Akbank Subsidiary Ak Investment announced in March that it made official moves to acquire Stablex. In the statement, it was reported that a share purchase and participation agreement was signed for the purpose of acquiring the majority shares of Stablex.
