The noble game of medieval strategy is coming to Xbox Series X”S and PlayStation 5 consoles very soon. Paradox Interactive’s successful strategy and role-playing game Crusader Kings III will be released on consoles on March 29, 2022, with a completely new group of players, will offer you the chance to establish a legendary dynasty in this historical strategy game.
In partnership with Lab42’s game development team, Paradox has adapted Crusader Kings III’s dynamic and ever-changing gameplay to a new environment, taking advantage of the unique features of console gameplay. Few games have such a wealth of strategic options, featuring political marriages to bond with noble families, brutal battles to impose supposed legal claims, personal relationships to unite a divided government, and even plans to weaken or eliminate rivals.

Crusader Kings III has larger screens on consoles and an interface and control scheme specially adapted to console game controllers. The all-new control map allows players to navigate the game’s menus quickly and easily through triggers and rapid movements of the analog stick. The console version also leverages the core features of Xbox Series X”S and PlayStation 5, such as super-fast loading times for a seamless gaming experience, along with Haptic and Adaptive Trigger feedback. Players can refer to a tutorial on how to put down a peasant revolt” They will be able to switch between gaming and other apps like YouTube using the “Quick Resume” option.
PlayStation 5 users will experience the game’s stress mechanics as DualSense physically reacts to in-game events. The more stress a character is exposed to, the more resistance will be applied to the DualSense controller’s adaptive trigger. PS5’s Events and Game Help also provides a platform to assist new players as they take their first steps in the world of Crusader Kings.
