Unisoc processors critical vulnerability
is located in the open modem software tracked by Check Point Research with the stamp CVE-2022-20210 and affects Unisoc chipsets with 4G and 5G support. By sending malicious code packets, attackers can reset the modem and completely cut off cellular communication.

Unisoc firm was informed in May of the vulnerability discovered for the first time in Motorola Moto G20 smartphone model with Unisoc T700 chip. Since the company has completed the patch preparations, it has been announced to everyone.
This patch will be included in Google’s next security update. It may take some time for manufacturers to distribute this update to their phones. In this regard, users are recommended to follow the developments.
