Since the COVID-19 virus began to spread around the world, we as humans have begun to experience great difficulties. People who lost their lives, people who tried their best not to catch the virus, those whose psychology was broken in return for dozens of negative news…

Although restrictions have been made to put an end to all this, precautions have been taken, and a vaccine has been produced, unfortunately we still have not been able to get rid of COVID-19 completely. On the contrary, the course of the virus is trending upwards again. According to data from Johns Hoplins University from the USA, deaths from COVID-19 in the USA in 2021 have surpassed the whole of 2020. In some countries, it was decided to return to the restrictions again.

“If no action is taken, 500 thousand more people may die by March”

According to the data obtained, the number of people who lost their lives due to COVID-19 reached 770,800. This number was around 385,343 last year, that is, in 2020. While it was stated that deaths increased due to the delta variant and low vaccination rates, experts stated that they were surprised that deaths due to COVID-19 increased so much in the USA this year.

World Health Organization (WHO) Europe Director Hans Kluge, on the other hand, said that COVID-19 has once again become the first cause of death in the European continent, and that 500,000 more people may die from COVID-19 by March if no action is taken. Some European countries, such as Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria, have reintroduced restrictions due to the increase in COVID-19 cases.
