Counter Strike 2 is coming: CS2 is being tested with a limited number of players

Counter Strike 2 is now available to almost all active CS: GO players. Valve opened CS2 to players of certain ranks. So, what conditions are required to download Counter Strike 2 Limited Test?

Valve wants to test Counter Strike 2 with as many players as possible before making it available to everyone. Players with active competitive skill set CS: Go Prime status and who have played the majority of matches in one of the testing regions are now being invited to CS2.

If you have this rank, you can start playing by receiving the CS2 Limited Edition invitation in-game and downloading the test version. Counter Strike 2 Limited Edition also offers a new ranking system with the latest update. With the new system called CS Rating, how skilled you are in Counter Strike will be shown on leaderboards in your own region and around the world. The new update also includes the renewed version of the Inferno map, one of the most iconic maps in CS history.
