The design and key technical features of the Galaxy A23 5G, which is claimed to be introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event that Samsung will hold on August 10, were shared. Accordingly, the smartphone will come with a drop notch design that almost integrates with the A series. On the other hand, as in the 4G variant, the quad camera setup will welcome us. The screen-to-body ratio will not upset the users too much.
The smartphone will have a 6.6-inch FHD+ resolution panel. It will also be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695. Chipset produced with 6 nm architecture; It houses the Adreno 619 graphics unit in addition to two 2.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 (Kryo 660) and six 1.7 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores.
While there is an 8 Megapixel selfie camera on the front, there will be a quad camera setup on the back consisting of 50 Megapixel main, 5 Megapixel ultra wide angle, 2 Megapixel depth and 2 Megapixel macro sensor with OIS support.
The device will have 4/6/8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage options. In addition, thanks to the microSD card support, the storage can be increased up to 1 TB.
The product will include a battery with an unknown capacity that supports 25W charging speeds. On the other hand, it will come out of the box with One UI 4.1 based on Android 12. Features such as a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button and Bluetooth 5.1 will also be available to users.
As mentioned above, the Galaxy A23 5G is expected to be showcased at the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10. There are no clear details about the price tag for now. However, according to reports, it will take its place on the shelves in Europe with prices starting from 300 euros.
