Preparing to launch its 13th Generation processors with Raptor Lake architecture, Intel shared the gaming and workload performance of Core i9-13900K, the top model of the family. Leaked images from a special Raptor Lake event held for the tech press and analysts bring the new flagships Core i9-13900K and Ryzen 9 7950X against each other.

It offers 11 percent higher performance than its competitor

Judging by the shared slide images, Intel says the Core i9-13900K will offer a performance that is between 1 percent and 22 percent higher than the AMD Ryzen 7950X in the gaming space. However, Intel’s new flagship manages to stay ahead of its rival by 11 percent on average.

In another image showing the workload performance of the processors, the Intel i9-13900K, which fell 3 percent behind its competitor in Pugetbench-Photoshop, gains between 4 percent and 16 percent in Auto Cad and AutoDesk/CAD tests.

On the other hand, although the i9-13900K is ahead in the tests, we may see differences in real-world results because the hardware details are not known and the images are from Intel. 13th Gen Intel processors are expected to hit the shelves on October 20. However, we can say that the performance difference between the two processors will soon become official.
