US-based technology giant Microsoft has been focusing on applications in Windows 11 for a while. In fact, in a news we shared with you just a few days ago, we mentioned that the background erasing feature came to Paint, the image editing application in Windows 11. The automatically working feature improved the user experience.

The latest news from Microsoft reveals that they will continue to work on new features for Windows 11. New features created for the Photos and Snipping Tool will eliminate the need for third-party software while improving the user experience. Additionally, with new features, users will be able to perform many things automatically. Let’s take a look at what’s new in Windows 11 together.

Copying text from screenshots comes to Snipping Tool

A new feature currently being tested within the Windows Insider program will make things easier for those who use the Snipping Tool. You know this feature from the iOS and Android ecosystems. Tools like Google Lens allow copying text from a screenshot and even translating it from language to language. The new feature that Microsoft has prepared for Windows 11 will do exactly this. However, there is no translation support for now. If the user wishes, he will be able to manipulate the text taken from the screenshot.

Let’s also point out this; The new feature of the Snipping Tool will also work integrated with the Phone Connection application. If the user takes a screenshot from a phone connected to Windows 11, they will see notifications in Windows 11. In this way, the screenshot on the phone will be instantly transferred to the computer. In other words, you will be able to copy the text in a screenshot you took on your phone as text in Windows 11.

Background blurring is coming to the Photos app

Another feature that is in the testing phase, just like the text detection feature, will blur the background of photos. This new feature, which will be available to the user through the Photos application, will automatically detect the background in an image and give a blur effect. The user will be able to adjust the blur level as desired. This adjustment can be made for both the area to be blurred and the blur level.

It is not clear when the brand new features prepared for Windows 11 will reach the end user. However, we think this will happen in the near future.
