Developer Unknown Worlds and publisher Krafton made statements for the third installment of the Subnautica survival series. Krafton announced in its latest financial report that it aims to release the “new Subnautica” game in the first half of 2025.
Krafton, known for being the developer of PUBG, announced that Subnautica 3 will be one of the important games in the future. Details are still unclear, but job postings for Unknown Worlds have shown that aliens will be involved in the undersea adventure.
This means that the third game will take you to an undiscovered ocean planet. Additionally, some players think that they will go to a different era of the planet in Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero.
