You remember the line-shaped city of Neom, whose plan we shared with you earlier. The crazy project that Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been dreaming of for years. If you still don’t remember, first take a look at the details of that project.
The structure is expected to be 170 kilometers long and cost 500 billion dollars. It is also stated that the giant city will host 9 million people. Now, it has been learned that the construction of this extreme dream of the Saudi Prince has started with the images obtained with drones over Saudi Arabia. Let’s take a look at the details.
The construction of the line-shaped city has already begun
The footage was captured by Saudi Arabian drone photography company Ot Sky and published by Dezeen, an architecture magazine that interviewed NEOM’s director of urban planning, Tarek Qaddumi.
“Regardless of physical condition, NEOM will revolutionize human capacity, technology and our current lifestyle in the world,” Kaddumi told Dezeen.
In the video, we see trucks and other heavy machinery working in the desert, and we witness many excavators clearing a large line of lines across the earth. What are you thinking? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
