AI models like Midjourney can be quite useful in some scenarios. From a design point of view, it seems inevitable that these models will be a source of inspiration. Reddit user Hyberctive, who wanted to show this and create a computer case reflecting his own tastes, asked Midjourney to create a computer case.
Some of the resulting designs have a spherical form, as Hybective is very fond of Wheatley, the artificial intelligence robot in the Portal series, and Games Sphere (a GameCube parody) in the teen sitcom Drake & Josh. Therefore, he specifically asked Midjourney to make crates in a ‘spherical’ form.
On the other hand, there are some problems with computer cases created by artificial intelligence. For example, while the practicality of the designs in the real world is a question mark, the fact that the cases are far from parameters such as air flow is among the main problems. But that doesn’t mean the designs are bad or uninspiring.
