WhatsApp announced a new feature so that no one but you can see your locked private conversations: Secret Code. The app offers a locked chat feature to help you hide sensitive conversations, but with the new secret code feature, only you will be able to access the locked conversations, they will be completely hidden within the app.Secret code for locked chats
Instead of showing all your locked chats in a folder on WhatsApp, you can now choose to hide them with a password different from your phone password. Your secret code can contain letters, numbers, special characters and even emojis. When you hide the locked chats folder from your chat list, it will only be revealed if you type your secret code in the search bar. Anyone with access to your phone won’t even be able to see that you have a locked chat folder.
WhatsApp secret codes feature will be available to users starting today, but like other new features, it will take time to reach all users.
