Sti. investigation was opened.According to the announcement on the Competition Authority’s website, Alphabet Inc, Google LLC, Google International LLC, Google Ireland Limited and Google Advertising and Marketing Ltd. The preliminary investigation on the allegation that the economic integrity of Şti violates the Law on the Protection of Competition with the context and self-serving behaviors related to online display advertising and advertising technology services activities was concluded by the Board.
Discussing the information, documents and findings obtained in the preliminary research, the Board found the findings serious and sufficient and decided to open an investigation into the economic integrity of the companies in question to determine whether the Law was violated or not.
On the other hand, the decision to open an investigation taken by the Competition Board does not mean that undertakings or associations of undertakings violate the Law, face or will be punished.

“The economic integrity consisting of Alphabet Inc., Google LLC, Google International LLC, Google Ireland Limited and Google Advertising and Marketing Ltd. Şti. is subject to the 6th article of Law No. 4054, with its binding and self-serving behaviors in relation to online display advertising and advertising technology services activities. The preliminary investigation carried out on the allegation of violating Article ., was concluded by the Competition Board.
Discussing the information, documents and findings obtained in the preliminary research at its meeting dated 18.05.2023, the Competition Board found the findings serious and sufficient; In order to determine whether it violates Article 6 of Law No. 4054; Alphabet Inc., Google LLC, Google International LLC, Google Ireland Limited and Google Advertising and Marketing Ltd. Şti. with the number 23-23/432-M.
