The Competition Authority announced that it has launched an investigation against the bus ticket sales platform Obilet. Information was shared about why the investigation was opened.
Violation of two articles of the Competition Law will be examined
According to the statement made by the Board, there are two reasons for opening an investigation. It will be examined whether Obilet violates Article 6 of the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition due to the excessive determination of the commission rates applied to the bus companies and its practices that exclude its competitors in the sale of bus tickets on platforms and the distribution of flight data.
