Shutterstock, the world’s largest licensed image, video and music provider, has announced the colors that will mark the year 2022. Shutterstock, which analyzes huge databases every year and shares which colors designers will prefer in the next year, applied an innovative method to determine the colors of 2022.
Using its own artificial intelligence technology, the company investigated how colors are perceived online. With this method, advertisers will be able to choose colors more easily according to the needs of their customers.
‘Peace and calm’ come to the fore in the colors of 2022:
This year has been spent trying to get over the shock of 2020 for many of us. After being locked up at home for a year, trying to keep up with the non-stop pace of normal life again tired us all. For this reason, it will not be surprising that the colors that are expected to mark the year 2022 are the colors that evoke the feelings of ‘peace’ and ‘calmness’.
Shutterstock announced that the palette of 2022 will include the colors ‘Calming Coral, Velvet Violet and Pacific Pink’ and released a video promoting each color.
Calming Coral
This color, which has a nostalgic atmosphere, also has a peaceful texture.
Velvet Violet (Velvet Violet)
Described as the ‘most noble and elegant’ among the colors in the 2022 palette, this color also represents a calm mind.
Pacific Pink
This color, which is the softest tone of the 2022 colors, is like a longing for the memories of summer that has passed.
