Colorado governor Jared Polis said that the state will begin accepting crypto for taxes and other payments to the state by the end of the summer.
The state is currently hosting the 2022 ETHenver conference.
Police used the following statements on the subject:
“For the convenience of consumers, we would like to accept payments in many cryptocurrencies as well as credit cards”

The police also stated that they are looking for companies that will carry out crypto transactions.
“We don’t want to take the speculative risk of holding crypto. For this reason, we will have the transaction layer”
The police first stated that they were considering accepting taxes for cryptos in Consensus 2021. Police, who became a Congressman in 2014, was one of the first US politicians to accept campaign donations in Bitcoin.
