iPhone 15 color options
Yesterday, it was revealed that Apple plans to introduce a color-matched braided USB-C cable to every device in the iPhone 15 series for the first time. To date, all iPhone models have come with a white rubber cable, regardless of the color option chosen for the device itself. Recently, on the other hand, Apple has been gradually switching to braided cables on most of its devices. We’ve already started seeing color-matched braided cables on all MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models with MagSafe 3. It looks like Apple will do the same with the new iPhone lineup. By the way, iPhone 15 charging cables will no longer be 1 meter, but 1.5 meters.
As a result, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus color options will include midnight/black, starlight/white, yellow, blue and orange. In recent years the iPhone series has been launched with just five options, and a sixth option was added in the spring to boost sales midway through the device’s product cycle. As you may remember, the yellow color option was launched for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus in March.
