Coinbase has extended their crypto-related public reach to the nation’s capital by airing a new TV spot in Washington DC. “Whatever you think about it, it’s not going anywhere,” says co-founder and CEO Brian Armstrong in the video.
Crypto exchange Coinbase, which has been in a long-standing dispute with US regulators, talked about the benefits and uses of digital assets in its new ad.
“There is a lot of policy work to be done to ensure America does not fall behind,” co-founder and CEO Brian Armstrong tweeted.

The video, titled We Need an Update, covers the uses and benefits of crypto from the CEO of Coinbase. Armstrong states that his view of crypto as a purely speculative asset is to “snipe the forest out of the trees.” While acknowledging that the industry is still in its early days, he compared the current era of crypto to what happened when people first started using the internet.
