Crypto exchange Coinbase has announced that it has received regulatory approval in the Netherlands to provide crypto services.
For the crypto sector, which continues its development, there are no clear regulations in most of the countries. Companies and countries working on crypto are making agreements to expand activities. The new address of Coinbase, which operates in many countries, to provide crypto services is the Netherlands.
Coinbase Becomes First Global Exchange To Get Regulatory Approval In The Netherlands
With regulatory approval from the Netherlands, Coinbase will be able to offer customers a suite of retail, institutional and ecosystem products. The exchange also became the first major global crypto exchange to successfully register with the Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank – DNB).
With the approval, Coinbase will be able to officially transfer crypto products and services to its customers in the Netherlands. This approval from the Netherlands marks an important milestone in Coinbase’s ongoing international expansion plan.
Coinbase has a broad footprint serving customers in almost 40 European countries through dedicated hubs in Ireland, the UK and Germany.
It is also working towards additional registrations or license applications in many major markets, in accordance with local regulations.
