Coinbase, the largest US crypto-asset trading platform, announced that it has extended its hiring suspension period. Stating that it will cancel some job offers, the company said that it is not clear how many of them will be cancelled. It also did not specify how long hiring would be halted.
This move of the company represents the last of the austerity policies that have been on the agenda recently among crypto asset trading platforms. In the past days, many crypto platforms such as Gemini announced that they will downsize or stop hiring due to macro uncertainties and the recession in the crypto market.
