Coinbase has established a Global Advisory Council that includes former US Senator Patrick Toomey, as well as former US Congressmen Tim Ryan and Sean Patrick Maloney.

US-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase is forming a global advisory council. It was noteworthy that there were former US deputies among the members of the advisory council.
Crypto exchange Coinbase, which is in a dispute with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), has begun forming a new advisory council.
In a statement, Coinbase shared details about the group called the Global Advisory Council:
“The council we are forming will help navigate the complex and evolving landscape of the crypto industry and strengthen relationships with strategic stakeholders around the world.”
The first members to be announced at the council will include former US Senator Patrick Toomey and former US Congressmen Tim Ryan and Sean Patrick Maloney. Also in attendance will be Chris Lehane, director of venture capital firm Haun Ventures, and John Anzalone, founder of Impact Research Polling.
