Bard, the artificial intelligence developed by Google and integrated with many Google products and platforms such as Google Docs, Gmail, and Google Drive, has received coding support.
Bard now; It will be able to work directly on Google’s office tools for more than 20 programming languages, especially C++, Go, Java, Javascript, Python and Typescript. It will be able to meet the coding demands made or debug the existing code. From this point of view, Bard is also a direct competitor to Copilot, the software assistant of the developers’ platform Github, which was launched last year.
“Always double check Bard’s answers”
This is how Bard support works on Google Collab, which makes it possible to write Python codes through the browser.
Announcing the development with a blog post, Google Research Product Manager Paige Bailey stated that just like other sobet bot productive artificial intelligences, Bard can also drool during conversations. However, Bard tells himself that “this situation will not change for business coding” and adds;
“Before trusting him, carefully test and examine the code for bugs and vulnerabilities. If Bard makes a long citation in his code, he will cite the source.”
With the code support coming to Google Bard, developers have 3 different advanced artificial intelligence assistants at their disposal, which they can access, albeit limited, often free of charge. While these artificial intelligence software reduce coding work to a minimum, they can enable software developers who are at least as productive as themselves to come forward with fast steps. On the other hand, the workforce created by artificial intelligence is also seen as an employment problem for software developers.
