US-based platform Clubhouse, which can be used with the invitation system, has announced a new update. In this update, the most notable feature was to see who is online while chatting. According to the chat platform, this update has just begun to be tested on Android and iOS devices.
Clubhouse, which had only the voice chat room feature at first, announced the text chat feature with the rival platforms bringing the same feature. So, how to use the update, which is still in the testing phase, announced by the social media giant, and what are the details? Let’s take a look at the news together.
Clubhouse puts its users online!
Social media platform Clubhouse announced in a blog post that it brought an update and what it added to its structure. In a statement, the platform announced that it is testing the feature that helps to understand who is online in the chat room.
Clubhouse also announced the ability to start a room with users who are online by sending waving emojis. After sending emojis, users will be able to send social rooms instead of private rooms and can ping their friends (a signal sent to the server and waiting for a response). It can also be locked for those who want to keep the conversation private.
Additionally, the platform made the following statements for the update:
These spontaneous, mundane moments aren’t always headline stories, but they are Clubhouse’s. It is the essence of what makes it great. With that in mind, we’re creating some new features to make it easy to quickly find and start talking to old friends and create new ones in the meantime!
