A post shared on Reddit’s r/GamingLeaksAndRumours community talks about many of Virtuos Games’ projects. According to the post, the author of the post is a former employee of Virtuos Games and as such has details of many of the studio’s projects. Although the author did not share any images of the projects, he spoke in detail about the projects. It is noteworthy that Bethesda was not involved in the construction of the project.
The most notable of these projects was The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. According to this post, Virtuos Games is working on a remake/remaster project codenamed “Altar” for The Elder Scrolls IV. According to the report, the studio has not yet decided whether the production will be a remake or remaster, but it is stated that the project was developed using Unreal Engine 5 and the original Oblivion engine. It is stated that the project was largely developed by the company’s Paris studio, but Black Shamrock studio also played a supporting role. Allegedly, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remake/Remaster will be released in late 2024 or early 2025. The Reddit user deleted the post he shared and his account on the platform, but r/GamingLeaksAndRumours confirmed that the author is a former Virtuos employee.
