RTX 4090 Ti may have been canceled
Known for its verified leaks, Kopite7kimi shared some information about Nvidia’s new cards on Twitter. According to this post, Nvidia canceled the RTX 4090 Ti graphics card, which it developed with the AD102 unit, which is the high-end “Ada” chip. The AD102 unit would undoubtedly allow Nvidia to achieve higher core counts and higher clock speeds, but it seems that the company gave up on this plan.
Despite this, Nvidia has worked with its partners on cooling units with quad-fan systems for potential high-end graphics cards in the past months, so it seems likely that the RTX 4090 Ti will be produced with a different GPU die later on.
New variants on the way for RTX 4060 and RTX 4070
As you know, Nvidia has produced many different variants for the last generation RTX 3060 graphics card. It seems that the company will apply the same methods applied in the RTX 30 series to the RTX 40 series. We hope the new 4060 and 4070 models will have a memory capacity of more than 8GB.
