South Korea-based technology giant Samsung introduced its new flagship phones Galaxy S23 series to us in the past months. The most powerful member of the family, the S23 Ultra, also came with many remarkable features, including the 200 MP camera.
Just a few months after the introduction of the S23 series, information about the S24 family began to come. A Twitter user named “Revengus”, known for his posts from the industry, claimed that we could see a significant change in the camera in the Ultra model.
Allegedly, Samsung can use a single telephoto lens on the S24 Ultra instead of two
Rumor has it that Samsung may go for a different camera setup on the S24 Ultra than on the S23. The company included two telephoto lenses, 3x and 10x, on the device released this year. The new claim says that this will not happen in the S24 Ultra, and that a single lens with 3x and 10x variants can take place.
This may not seem like a big change at first glance. However, if that rumor turns out to be true, dropping it to a single lens could give Samsung the space to add something else to the camera side. This means that we can see a brand new lens on the phone.
Of course, let us emphasize again that this is purely a claim and does not contain any certainty. We will see together if the company will do something like this.
