There has been a remarkable development regarding the mid-upper segment smartphone called Galaxy A54, which is known to be approaching South Korean technology giant Samsung. According to a report in GalaxyClub, known for leaking information about Samsung, there will be a significant change in the camera of this smartphone.
Allegedly, the Samsung Galaxy A54 will have a main rear camera with a resolution of 50 MP. On the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A52, there was a main rear camera with 64 MP resolution. So Samsung will lower the resolution of the main camera on the new Galaxy A series phone.
So, does a decrease in resolution indicate a worse camera? No way!

From what you’ve read so far, you might have thought that the Galaxy A54 would have a worse main rear camera than the Galaxy A53. But there is another issue here. Samsung’s plans for the Galaxy A54 may be slightly different. So much so that Samsung preferred a main rear camera that offers 50 MP resolution on the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 + models. This camera sensor, which is used in the premium segment, can also be used in the company’s mid-upper segment phone. If this is true, we can say that there will be a significant increase in photo quality, even if the resolution decreases.
The Samsung Galaxy A54 is a phone that’s still a long way off. According to estimates, this smartphone will be released in a period after the Samsung Galaxy S23. Therefore, it is too early for detailed information about the phone. However, there is one feature we can still say. The Samsung Galaxy A54 will most likely come up with the Exynos 1380 processor, which will be introduced as the successor to the Exynos 1280 used in the Galaxy A53. This means that the performance of the phone will be above the Galaxy A53.
