Advanced Warfare may debut in 2025
Known for their reliable leaks in the Call of Duty community, RalphsValve and GhostofHope stated that Sledgehammer Games’ new project will be the sequel to Advanced Warfare. The studio, which has been about the Second World War in its last two games, seems to want to visit the distant future again in its next game. Advanced Warfare, Black Ops 3 and Infinite Warfare games had seriously angered the CoD community with their advanced movement mechanics at their release, so Sledgehammer Games will probably change Advanced Warfare’s movement mechanics seriously.
CharlieIntel, another reliable source after the claims on the agenda on social media, stated that Advanced Warfare 2 was not developed, but GhostofHope again stated that his claims were true and said that the next Call of Duty in 2025 will be the continuation of Advanced Warfare. According to many reliable sources, Modern Warfare 2, which will be released in the coming weeks, will be supported for 2 years and we will not see a new Call of Duty game in 2023. After that, Treyarch in 2024 and Sledgehammer Games in 2025 will release new CoD games. All games to be released in this process are expected to be developed with the IW9 game engine used in MW2.
