A citizen named Muzaffer Kayasan, a leukemia patient living in Istanbul Sarıyer, became the agenda with what he told today. Kayasan, who caught the coronavirus in November 2020, did not experience any change in the test results, different from every COVID-19 patient, despite being discharged. Kayasan has received positive results from all 78 tests he has done in the last 14 months.
The 56-year-old citizen has never been out of quarantine due to the precautions due to the positive result of every test he has had for 14 months. Kayasan, who could not get out of quarantine, could not see his grandchildren and relatives, and had to live alone for a long time, asked the authorities for help in this situation.
“I’m not infecting anyone, but I’m in trouble”
Explaining his experiences, Kayasan said that he had a bone marrow transplant three years ago, and then he contracted COVID-19. He stated that he was living with COVID-19 as of 2020. Karasan explained that he had leukemia and that he had been alive for 14 months thanks to the drugs given due to his low immune system, and that this was a very difficult process. Karasan continued his statements as follows:
“Until now, my wife stayed with me for ten days, but it was negative. He was tested twice and came back negative at the hospital. My son stayed with me, he was also negative. I wondered if I was a carrier, but it did not affect anyone at home. I’m not infecting anyone, but it’s my fault. If a cat passes outside, it can infect me. Here’s what scientists say: COVID-19 remnants are still in your body. You have no symptoms but appear to have COVID-19. I can not tell.”
He also called out to citizens who are not vaccinated:
In his statement, Karasan also addressed the citizens who are not vaccinated and said, “There are children around you who are not vaccinated, you get on the bus, you go to school. People are walking around here. You have no right to kill others. This is immoral, unscrupulous.” made a statement. You can watch all of Muzaffer Kayasan’s statements below:
