Google has released the new version of the ChromeOS operating system. ChromeOS 104 comes with a few interface changes. The tech giant says the features that come with the new version will enable users to take their creativity and productivity to the next level with Chromebooks.
What does ChromeOS 104 offer?
The new version of ChromeOS brings with it support for switching from a light theme to a dark theme. The dark theme, which can be activated from the second page of Quick Settings, will provide an easy reading experience in low light or dark environment. It will also make it possible to save power. Google states that they also offer theme-specific wallpapers, which will provide a subtle transition from light to dark.
Chrome 104 will support users to access the Google Calendar PWA when they tap the date from their Chromebook. Users will be able to manage their activities, scroll through other months, and easily return to today. Also, notifications from the same sender will now be grouped together and the notifications section will have larger buttons.
