Google is testing a feature in the Android version of Chrome that could be quite useful for careless users. When a user wants to close all open tabs, the browser will warn the user and ask if they really want to close all tabs.
The browser will prompt the user for confirmation
A new alert, appearing in the Chrome 100 Canary channel of the Chrome app for Android, focuses on preventing unintentional closing of tabs that escape attention and are not actually intended to be closed.
Google states that the warning that must confirm when closing all tabs for Canary channel users can be used by enabling the ‘Close all tabs modal dialog’ flag after going to chrome://flags.
It should be noted that Google is testing many innovations on the Canary channel and it is unclear whether they will be seen in stable versions.
