China’s Moore Threads moves quietly and deeply

The Moore Threads initiative, which managed to launch the world’s first PCIe 5.0 graphics card, raised a total of $215 million in funding in its funding round. Investors include China Mobile and Hexe Health Insurance. Giants such as ByteDance and Tencent were included in the company’s initial investment of $100 million.

Moore Threads, a venture of only 2 years, has developed two more graphics cards alongside the PCIe 5.0 graphics card. It caters to different segments such as general use, gaming, artificial intelligence, and has already acquired Chinese manufacturing partners.

Moore Threads has raised its total value to $315 million with the newly received funding. The startup hopes that new graphics technologies will hit the market faster. The funds raised will be spent on this. We’ll hear more about Moore Threads if China somehow manages to bypass the casting embargo.
