As you know, Chinese companies have started to step into the GPU market in recent years. At this point, although there are names producing different graphics cards, there is no model that has been released and become widespread. However, this may change very soon. Today GITSTAR announced its new graphics card JH920 model. Moreover, it comes with AMD FSR support.What does China’s new graphics card GITSTAR JH920 offer?
According to the shared specifications page, JH920 comes with 4GB GDDR6 memory configuration offering 64-bit bus and 96 GB/s bandwidth. At this point, it was stated that the card paired with 30W TDP and 1.2 GHz clock speed will offer 1.2 TFLOP (FP32) processing power. The graphics configuration or GPU details of the card have not been shared yet.
However, the JH920 stands out mainly with its software support. Accordingly, the card, which offers support for current encoding (HEVC (H.265), H.264) and OpenGL 4.0, Vulkan 1.1, OpenGL ES 3.2 and OpenCL 3.0 APIs, has a dual-slot form factor in Mini-ITX form. We also see that the card, which measures 173.29×126.35×41.89 mm, is supported by a single fan cooling.Another feature of the JH920 is its support for AMD FSR technology. So much so that GITSTAR states that the card supports all modes for higher performance compared to native processing. In addition, we should point out that there is also support for various content creation applications such as PS or Photoshop.
Coming to gaming performance, the Chinese GPU manufacturer announced that the GITSTAR JH920 is faster than the GeForce GTX 1050 and will be released later this month. Moreover, it will be offered to users at an affordable price. As we mentioned above, all details about GITSTAR JH920 have not been shared yet. But if it can compete with the GTX 1050, it could be a great start for China’s domestic GPU market.
