Announced as HaloDrive H30, the chip was developed for performance-oriented systems and claims to be the country’s most powerful artificial intelligence chip. The chip designed in the 12nm process can reach 256TOPS artificial intelligence performance. In addition to the internal SRAM, the special visual processor can offer INT8 support. The visual processor was developed entirely by the company’s own means.
While the chip can reach 7.3 TOPS per watt, it can reach 8700 fos and 10300 fps in Resnet 50 tests. The HaloDrive H30 chip targets more autonomous vehicles. Its rival in the same industry, the Journey 5 chip, could produce 128TOPS performance in the 16nm process. The company, which is only 2 years old, has started testing the chip and it is stated that the H50 chip will be released in 2025.
In addition, a new productivity-oriented software development tool that can offer PyTorch, TensorFlow and ONNX support for Houmo Avenue, the company’s general artificial intelligence chip, is also available.
