China’s facelifted 2022 Ford Focus also appeared

Ford launched its Focus family, which it made up for the European market, last October. had introduced. Now, the facelifted version of Ford Focus, which is sold in China, has appeared. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China shared photos that reveal the exterior design of the model.

In the shared photos, we can see that there are slight differences between the Chinese and European versions of the facelift Ford Focus. Most of the body panels and lighting are the same on both sides, but the version to be sold in China uses a larger louver, reminiscent of the Evos and Mondeo. The bumper design, on the other hand, is not the same, but quite similar.

In terms of size, the hatchback version has a length of 4401 mm, while the sedan has a length of 4664 mm. The wheelbase of 2705 mm has remained unchanged in both body types. There is no interior image in the photos, but the console is expected to use a 13.2-inch multimedia screen and a digital instrument cluster. It is also possible to see some changes in the console design.

The current Focus family uses a 1.5-liter EcoBoost turbo three-cylinder engine in China. However, a switch to the new 1.5-liter four-cylinder unit is expected this year, according to local media.

Ford had made up the Focus family, which was sold in China, in 2020. This year, it will obviously try to prevent sales from falling by carrying out a second and more comprehensive makeover operation. Especially against the Focus Sedan, there are ambitious competitors such as Honda Civic / Integra and Volkswagen Lavida / Lamando.
