While artificial intelligence continues to increase its popularity day by day, China has announced that it will bring a regulation to this technology.
Artificial intelligence technology continues to develop and improve day by day. As one of the latest developments, Twitter CEO Elon Musk expressed his concerns about technology.
China Announces It Will Bring Strict Regulation To Artificial Intelligence Technology
Recently, artificial intelligence services have attracted a lot of attention around the world. With the establishment of an artificial intelligence (AI) company called X.AI by Elon Musk, who has recently come to the fore with his closeness to crypto, it is seen that governments have increased their regulations in this area. Finally, China pushed the button for stricter regulations on artificial intelligence services.
The China Cyberspace Administration (CAC) has recently published its draft regulations titled “Administrative Measures for Productive Artificial Intelligence Services”. With this published report, China became one of the first countries to introduce audit rules in the field of artificial intelligence. The CAC stated that the public can provide feedback on the rules until May 10, 2023, before the regulations come into effect.
According to China’s guidelines, AI service providers are responsible for ensuring that content created through the platform is accurate and complies with intellectual property laws. The CAC also warns service providers to ensure that the algorithm design prevents discrimination based on race, gender, creed, age and occupation.
