China is moving to mass production in humanoid robots with artificial intelligence reinforced
China -based robotic manufacturer Ubtech Robotics is preparing to launch artificial intelligence -supported humanoid robots this year. The company’s goal is to be an important player in the global robotic market by starting mass production at the end of 2025.

According to recent reports, Ubtech plans to deliver 500 to 1000 for Walker S series humanoid robots. These deliveries include Apple supplier Foxconn, logistics giant SF Express and various car manufacturers. The Walker S2, which is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2025, will constitute more than 60 percent of the units to be delivered this year. Towards the end of the year, the company plans to introduce the Walker S3, a more advanced model.

China wants to be a leader in humanoid robots

Walker S stands out as a humanoid robot developed especially for industrial production processes. This robot, 170 cm tall, was equipped with ‘force-compatible drive joints’ and ‘hard-esnek connection’ systems that provide precise mobility. Walker S, which has advanced technologies in walking, navigation and object transportation issues, has been designed to work with people.

In fact, Ubtech is not far from industry -specific humanoid robots. Humanoid robots are currently used in NIO’s automobile factories in China. He even announced last year that they would work together to develop a unmanned automobile factory in partnership with Faw-Volkswagen, a joint venture between Faw Group and Volkswagen Group.

This step by Ubtech is part of China’s strategy to strengthen its position in the global leadership race in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics. In addition to its progress in artificial intelligence models and chip technologies, China, which is in competing with the US, focuses on integration of humanoid robots into industry and daily life. Ubtech plans to deliver humanoid robots to every house in China, among its long -term goals.
