China Commercial Aircraft Corporation (COMAC) completed the first test flight of the aircraft it developed to compete with Boeing 737 and Airbus A320. With the C919 aircraft, the company wants to have a say in the global aviation market.

B-001J, which will begin its mission in China, took off from Shanghai Pudong International Airport and performed a test flight of 182 minutes. The pilot and engineer team, who fulfilled all the tasks determined before the flight, said that the plane was in good condition.
On the official website of COMAC, there were statements that the test flight completed the planned missions, the aircraft performed well and was in good condition.

First successful COMAC C919, which made its flight in 2017, has 158 to 168 seats, a standard range of 4,075 kilometers and a maximum range of 5,555 kilometers. Following the completion of the works, COMAC will deliver five C919s to China Eastern Airlines this year, and the aircraft will begin its commercial life.
