Memory prices are rising
According to the information received, there is a high demand for DRAM products such as HBM in parallel with the increasing demand for artificial intelligence-oriented chips. As a result, prices began to rise on the manufacturer’s side.
According to the information received, HBM3 memory prices increased nearly 5 times as SK Hynix and Samsung could not meet the high demand. It is stated that while Nvidia dominates HBM3 memory orders, Intel also places high orders.
On the other hand, HBM2 and HBM2e memory prices are also increasing because they are included in Nvidia Ampere and Volta-based accelerators. Currently, SK Hynix has a 60-70 percent share in the HBM market.
