Chatgpt is now a marriage therapist?

If you are tired of carrying bags to marriage therapists to save your marriage, maybe you may want to try at Chatgpt. A study shows that the difference between getting double therapy from a professional and taking artificial intelligence can rarely be distinguished.

According to the study, the answers given by ChatGPT to relationship problems usually get higher points as it contains basic psychotherapy principles. Researchers asked 830 people, including couples who have previously received double therapy, to examine the responses of a therapist or artificial intelligence to relationship problems. The subjects had to determine whether the answer came from an expert or an artificial intelligence tool.

The results showed that the correct estimation rate was only 56 %that people received a response from the therapist, and the correct estimation rate of Chatgpt’s answers was 51 %.

Artificial intelligence also undresses in therapy

These figures reveal that people now have difficulty distinguishing responses from a therapist or artificial intelligence. In the study published in Plos Mental Health magazine, 13 experts, including clinical psychologists, consultant psychologists, marriage and family therapists and a psychiatrist, fought against Chatgpt. Only half of the participants were able to distinguish the answers of experts from the responses of artificial intelligence. As artificial intelligence develops, this ratio may decrease further.
