Chatgpt can now be used as the default search engine of Safari
OpenAI added the safari extension by updating the chatgpt application on iOS side. iPhone users no longer have to use Google as the assumed search engine for searches made through the safari search bar.

Once the latest version of the Chatgpt application is updated, the Chatgpt search extension can be enabled from the Safari section to the Settings application. When enabled, all queries written in the safari search bar are directed to Chatgpt search. Chatgpt search is your default search engine in Safari.

The extension needs permission to access Google.com or the default search engine site; When allowed, all the calls you write are directed to the search feature of Chatgpt instead of passing through the default searches in your safari settings. Apple does not offer Chatgpt as a preferred search engine; Extension can be seen as a temporary solution.
